Our waitress was so sweet and the manager said she was a great addition to the team. We got 3 orders of Fish and Chips and a spicy jambalaya and the food was honestly the best I’ve ever had at a fish camp type restaurant. Everything was so fresh and hot. Definitely made to order!! We will definitely be back.

Wonderful place for great food and atmosphere. The time and detail put into this build out paid off. The ambience is incredible. We had the scamp. It was delicious. It was served over a corn tomato salad with green tomato tartar sauce. We were there for brunch so the menu is a little bit limited. We will be back in the evening for the expanded menu. We are delighted to see they have quite the happy hour menu. Highly recommend!

The Best Dining Experience – Thanks to Chloe! We had an absolutely incredible experience at Owen’s Fish Camp in Lakewood Ranch, and that was entirely thanks to Chloe, hands down the best server we’ve ever had! From the moment she greeted our table, her genuine warmth, joy, and attentiveness made us feel so welcomed and cared for. As someone with celiac disease, dining out can be stressful, but Chloe went above and beyond. She not only took my gluten allergy seriously, but she also went straight to the kitchen to talk directly with the chef. Then, to my surprise, she handwrote a list of gluten-friendly options on a take-home menu for me, incredibly thoughtful and helpful for the next time we visit the area. (Attached for gluten allergy peeps) I ended up ordering the Shrimp and Grits (which she confirmed was safe), and wow...it was absolutely phenomenal. Creamy, flavorful, fresh, and perfectly cooked. Shout-out to the kitchen because I genuinely can’t wait to come back. Chloe’s sweet and happy personality, and unmatched customer service made this a truly memorable visit. Owen’s Fish Camp, you’ve got a gem in Chloe. I’ll be recommending this place to everyone I know and we all will definitely be back soon! Thank you for making our dining out experience here while on vacation with allergies not just safe, but special and rememberable!

If I could give this place 10 stars, I would! The food was delicious, menu was exciting, and service was top notch. We even had a server ask us if we needed anything while we were waiting to be seated. We will definitely be back.

Come Hungry! The food is amazing all around. One grudge is the 7 oz market fish is actually 4 oz. And our server was sub par not matching the pricey menu. It wouldn't be called a fish camp if it weren't bringing in the Bay's local fish everyday. Not only do we have fresh seafood, but accompanying Southern Classics with a great Craft Beer and Wine selection. Our friendly staff strives to match the delicious food with exceptional service to assure your visit to Owen's Fish Camp is second to none.

4/25/25 Update: The Katamas oysters were particularly good this evening. If you like brine and a slightly sweet finish, don't miss these! Update: Best grouper ceviche I've ever had. I was intrigued by the ceviche, didn't ask how it was presented. It was delightful thar it came with fried plantains, avocado and lime. Very satisfying. Service is always excellent. Best soft shelled crab I've ever had.

My wife, mother-in-law, and I enjoyed an excellent first-time dining experience at Owen's Fish Camp for an early Mother's Day dinner. The service provided by Mr. Paul was exceptional.

Tonight was my first time at Owen's Fish Camp. It was one of the best experiences EVER. Our server was courteous and checked in with us constantly. We were sitting outside. The heaters were great, but I was just a little chilly. One of the managers (I presume he was a manager) walked up behind me with this huge comfy blanket. It was so comforting that I didn't want to give it back. I was in heaven, lol. The food was also amazing. Everything was cooked just right. My favorites were the grits and collard greens. I can't wait to visit again.
